Combines 30 minutes of cycling and 30 minutes of step aerobics for a sweaty, fun, beat filled workout.
The name is both a description and a goal! This is a 30 minute, intensive class that focuses on building core strength, endurance, and flexibility. Challenging exercises will target the lower and upper abdominals, obliques, back, and hip flexors. Modifications for beginners will be provided.
POUND® is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn between 400 and 900+ calories per hour, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique - all while rocking out to your favorite music!
Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix™, you'll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, POUNDing off pounds as each song flies by. We meet twice weekly in the mornings (Monday/Wednesday) and evenings (Tuesday/Thursday). We train heavy weights one day and lighter toning with cardio elements on the second day. We work hard! You also have access to our online support group. We are a beautiful community of strong women and we would love to have you join us. We have personal challenges as well as group challenges. You will see results from these sessions. If you are looking to change your life, this is a great place to start! This class requires Total Body Conditioning Pass or a Full Access Pass.
